Anuga FoodTec 2018 is already displaying a positive trend. Even at this early stage more than 200 companies so far have confirmed their participation in the world’s leading trade fair for suppliers to the food and beverage industry – and the number is continuing to grow! The early bird campaign through which exhibitors can secure the “best places” in the Cologne trade fair halls on preferential terms will continue up to 31 May 2017.

The great interest shown in Anuga FoodTec 2018 is an impressive demonstration of how important innovative technologies are for the food industry. A technological lead is the basis for success in the market! We have put together a few interesting product innovations for you again in the latest issue of AFT-Quarterly.

The topics range from degermination of packaging materials via Pulsed Light Sterilisation to micronized food colouring powders that allow completely new colour intensities with a reduction in the quantities added. We also look at electronic noses and a fascinating research project on healthy eating into old age.

The early bird campaign of Anuga FoodTec (20 to 23 March 2018) has been running since June 2016 and a positive trend has already been recorded: More than 200 companies have confirmed their participation at the world's most important supplier trade fair for the food and beverage industry at an early stage - with a rising trend! NutriAct - nutrition for a healthy aging

NutriAct

NutriAct stands for "Nutritional Intervention for Healthy Aging Food Patterns, Behavior, and Products”. Since June 2015, the competence cluster which is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has been researching ways to optimize existing dietary recommendations for 50 to 70 year old people, and to develop strategies for the successful implementation of these recommendations. Through this, NutriAct aims to empower this age group to live a healthy and active life up to a very old age.
