Global Trade and Regional Markets:
Demands on Product Quality and Food Safety

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invites 50 experts and leaders from 25 developing countries to participate in the Anuga FoodTec - international trade fair for food and drink technology in Cologne, Germany. These 50 alumni, all graduates of German higher education institutions, will be presenting prospects and challenges for food technology worldwide at the DAAD booth and in forums held during the fair.

On Thursday, March 12 2009, starting at 2:00 pm, there will be a presentation within the conference program of the fair. The alumni will deliver an overview of innovations and challenges in food technology within their regions. Apart from the transfer of international expertise, there will be an opportunity to establish new contacts. The event will take place in established cooperation with the German Agricultural Society (DLG). We will also gladly arrange for you a meeting with contact persons directly at the fair.
