Cross-border, sector-spanning and process-orientated

In addition to requiring innovative strategies and solutions, the dynamic developments in the food processing industry also require companies to remain open to change and risk. Anuga FoodTec is the world's most important international business platform for the food technology industry's fascinating products and services. That's why the fair, which is held every three years, is one of the sector's most important summit meetings. Only here does a unique cross-over concept make it possible to synergistically consolidate under one roof the cross-border, sector-spanning and process-orientated aspects of production, packaging and distribution.

International showcase displaying the future of the sector

The international makeup of Anuga FoodTec participants is also a measure of the fair's success: 55 per cent of exhibitors and trade visitors come from abroad. That fact makes the four-day Anuga FoodTec in Cologne the sector's liveliest information platform, addressing the most up-to-date issues, such as consumer protection and price competition - for exhibitors as well as visitors, about two-thirds of whom are their companies' top decision-makers. Anuga FoodTec 2006 was again the most important event of the year for the food processing industry. And we can make this forecast with confidence because one thing is certain: Anuga FoodTec is the stage for ideas and solutions for a successful present and thereby simultaneously the most important showcase displaying the future of the sector.

Top exhibitors from around the world

A total of 1,178 exhibitors from 45 countries presented their intelligent system solutions and attractive services at a significantly expanded exhibition area at Anuga FoodTec 2006.

Three-quarters of the visitors are decision-makers

Around 39,000 trade visitors from 146 countries came to see the very latest solutions for the sector. As managers or technical decision-makers, approximately three-quarters of the visitors had high decisio-making responsibility.
