Companies are faced with the task of taking action to counter the increasing shortages of new recruits, professional and managerial staff. How do companies attract their staff and what do they do to retain employees and develop them further?
In the discussion with human resources managers from well-known companies we shall be finding out about their selection process for career starters, what is expected of junior employees, and what opportunities for advancement exist in the companies for professional and managerial staff. Participants will be able to pick up ideas for possible career paths and gain an insight into the corporate culture of the prestigious companies.
The session will be framed by two short interactive lectures held in German. We shall start with application training and provide tips for successful job applications in Germany: How to score points in the application process? The session will then close with helpful employment-related law issues for entry and advancement levels. What is good to know, and what should one look out for? Our lawyer will be pleased to answer questions from participants.
