The "BUTCHERS TECHNOLOGY AWARD" & "BUTCHERS TRADE AWARD" of the trade magazines "BUTCHERS TECHNOLOGY" and "BUTCHERS TRADE" published by B&L MedienGesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, which distinguish pioneering developments in the meat processing sector and butcher's trade, are being conferred for the fifth time in 2018.
All companies of the equipment and supplier industry as well as service providers, who provide a sustainable advantage for the production processes of the meat processing and sausage producing companies (both with an industrial and craft-oriented alignment) are addressed. An expert jury comprising of representatives from the field of science and specialised publications assesses the submitted applications. Taking the factors quality improvement, cost reduction, sustainability and effective process design into consideration, the best innovations among the entries are selected in different categories, i.e. processing machines, food safety, smoking and air-conditioning technologies, automation, hygiene/rinsing technologies, transport & logistics, shop fitting/sales and cooking techniques.
