The event

Use of compressed air in Food- and Beverage industry is expensive – but just as much unavoidable. Therefore concepts for energy efficiency in compressed air technology are most important. Atlas Copco is engaged in compressors and quality air solutions especially in food and beverage industry with its high requirements in reliability and purity for more than 60 years. What’s the cost of compressed air? When becomes compressed air expensively? Approximately 80% of Life Cycle Costs for compressed air is energy costs. Additionally compressors and dryers are driven by electricity which is an expensive energy. Enough reasons for use of energy efficient concepts to produce compressed air cheaper. The presentation shows different compressor and dryer designs used in food and beverage industry and proven for many years. How to recover and where to use dissipated heat or energy from compressors? Best practice examples will be shown during the presentation.
