The suppliers of the food and beverage industries are strongly committed to environmental themes and the preservation of resources

Responsibility sends a clear signal to the entire food and beverage industry: the supplier industry and its leading international trade fair are facing up to current and future challenges and acknowledging their responsibility as part of the entire production, packaging and logistics process. The overriding theme will set accents across the fair, will be taken up by exhibitors and will also be reflected in the congress and event programme.

"Responsiblity" is a central concern for the globally active supplier industry. This is because the supplier industry for the food and beverage producers has become interested in continually monitoring all processes of the value creation chain for performance, cost structures and use of resources not only since energy costs have increased significantly. Reducing costs is of course a powerful motivator for companies, but the factor of compatibility with the environment and climate goals plays a considerable role in an industry that is not oriented to short-term successes, but instead acts holistically and sustainably.

Responsibility therefore also means that the manufacturers of food products and beverages work together with their suppliers on concepts and strategies for the responsible use of resources. The focus is also on sustainable sourcing in the food supply chain. Responsibility towards the environment and the people who live and work in it is one of the main driving forces of the supply industry. With innovations and further developments, it contributes to the process of responsible management in the food chain.
