New generation of stretch film
AXIO machine stretch films: for semi-automatic and automatic pallet wrappers
The AXIO machine stretch film range is dedicated to companies using semi-automatic or automatic pallet wrappers with pre-stretching units. It is designed to adapt to existing machines, as well as to the specific packaging needs of each customer.
The range includes ultra-thin stretch films in 7 different thicknesses, starting from 8 microns (before stretching). The 8 micron film can be stretched by 340% which results in a thickness of approx. 2 microns when wrapped around the pallet. This allows a maximum optimization of film consumption.
Designed to withstand high levels of mechanical tension, these films hold up well during transport while significantly reducing the amount of material used per pallet. This translates into lower packaging costs, fewer roll changes and better overall line productivity.
AXIO manual pre-stretched film: a solution for higher comfort and efficiency
The AXIO pre-stretched film is made from the same material as the machine film. It is pre-stretched by the manufacturer to obtain an ultra-thin film with a thickness of 4, 5, and 6 microns. It is available in two widths: 390 and 430 mm. Particularly well-suited for environments where packaging is done manually, such as logistics warehouses, wholesalers, or e-commerce operations.
With its advanced material properties and double reinforced edges, the film exhibits superior tensile strength and durability. As the film is pre-stretched, there's no need to stretch it during application, making packaging easier and faster, while reducing operator fatigue. The thinner film means less packaging material, less plastic waste and less downtime for reel changes. Load stability remains assured, even with irregularly shaped products.

A concrete lever for ESG strategy and CSRD compliance
The AXIO range is fully in line with today's sustainability challenges. By using less film required for wrapping, while maintaining or improving protection (same load stability with 40% less stretch film used per pallet), it helps to reduce plastic waste, CO₂ emissions linked to packaging, and the costs associated with the plastic tax. In this way, AXIO represents a concrete and effective response for companies keen to improve their performance.
In this dynamic, Antalis is strengthening its commitment to sustainable transition through the forthcoming publication of its ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) report, testifying to its concrete involvement in supporting its customers in making responsible and sustainable choices.
“In an increasingly demanding regulatory environment, AXIO stretch films represents an innovative, high-performance solution — currently among the most advanced — that helps companies improve their performance while significantly reducing material use and waste (40% less stretch film per pallet), lowering their environmental impact, optimizing logistics costs, and better controlling transport-related risks,” explains Virginie Mallet, Packaging Marketing Director at Antalis Group.
