The event

Raw material procurement is flexible in global supply chains, but it is not very clear. As a result, information procurement and information quality, which represent a high value for consumers, suffer. Comprehensive transparency is now required by the Supply Chain Sourcing Obligations Act, which came into force in Germany in 2023. The aim is to uphold human rights and environmental standards along the value chain. This puts pressure on the food industry to act, as obligations are expected to cascade down the value chain. Thus, it affects companies directly or indirectly as a supplier. Find out how it can be embedded in existing management systems and how the transparent supply chain consumers want can become a reality – including food safety and raw material security.
