Challenges of hygienic cleaning of containers & silos
Large-volume tanks, silos and containers are used in many industrial sectors. Particularly in the food industry or for agricultural products such as grain that are processed into animal feed, hygiene standards must be maintained. This is a labour-intensive, time-consuming and costly process. Manual cleaning in particular consumes a lot of water and the use of chemicals is resource-intensive and harmful to the environment. Disposing of the large quantities of contaminated water is time-consuming and leads to high costs. FRANK helps to overcome these challenges in an ecological and efficient way and is constantly developing innovative technologies to optimise the process of cleaning containers and silos.
Efficient and sustainable - cleaning & disinfection with FRANK
FRANK offers mobile systems that have been specially developed for cleaning tanks, containers and silos. These completely remove the contaminants in the container using steam and splash water. In separate work steps, steam is used to dissolve and then low pressure is used to rinse off the contamination. By steaming the container over a defined period of time, there is also the option of thermal disinfection. The containers are ready for use again in a very short time. As chemicals can generally be dispensed with during the cleaning process and only very little water is used, the environment is relieved and the consumption of resources is significantly reduced. This process can be fully automated and adapted to customer requirements with the help of freely created, individual cleaning programmes.
