Progress rethought - at ANUGA Foodtech, Leistritz is presenting the new HYPER screw pump series for hygienically sensitive use in food production. It redefines performance standards in terms of suction power, product protection and cleanability.
Process expertise and engineering skills perfectly combined
The screw spindle technology has been impressive in many industrial applications for decades. "Together with process experts from the field of hygiene technology, we have incorporated all the advantages of screw spindle technology into hygienic applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Our goal: to create a plug-and-play solution that meets all the requirements of a hygienic pump and is particularly easy to clean," explains Markus Schwarte, Managing Director of Leistritz Pumpen GmbH. "The HYPER series really is the next-generation hygienic pump. It also offers performance that has never been seen before. We are thus taking the hygienic pump to a new level."
Leistritz Hygienic Body Design
A special feature is the hygienic body design developed by Leistritz: the rounded design enables particularly easy, residue-free cleaning: there are no imperfections, edges, corners or weld seams. As screw pumps have no dead spaces, optimized CIP and SIP operation up to 191 m3/h is guaranteed. There is no need for a second pump for cleaning. The HYPER series is certified according to EHEDG and 3-A Sanitary Standard.
HYPER pumps: at a glance
The HYPER series covers a wide range of viscosities (up to 1,000,000 cSt), delivery volumes (up to 191 m³/h) and pressures (up to 25 bar), impresses with optimized product protection even in shear-sensitive applications and maximum precision even with the smallest dosing quantities. Media with solids sizes up to 41 Ø/mm are pumped without any problems.
HYPER³ - effective and precise dosing
"With the HYPER³, a three-spindle pump solution, we are presenting a world first," says Product Manager Angelo Perna. "The patented pump delivers an efficiency of up to 96%. It enables better pumping with a volumetric conversion of up to 100 %. It works absolutely gently in the micro-shear range. Thanks to the hydrodynamic sliding principle and the very tight tolerances, the HYPER³ is particularly accurate in metering even the smallest quantities. The oil-free operation of the pump ensures maximum cleanliness of the product and system."
HYPERTWIN – high volumens and gentle
Angelo Perna. "With the HYPERTWIN, we are setting the benchmark for hygienic applications even higher." This pump technology effortlessly and gently achieves a high pumping capacity - even for products with a high solids content and large air pockets. Pieces with diameters of up to 41 mm. "The use of an innovative, one-piece cartridge mechanical seal unit makes installation and maintenance very easy," says Perna. "The HYPERTWIN units are pre-synchronized and therefore a perfect plug-and-play solution."
