FULL HYGIENE. FULL RANGE. FULL SERVICE. FULLSAN

Forbo Movement Systems has added a new product range for hygiene-critical applications to its portfolio. It’s offering a homogenous conveyor and processing belt called Siegling Fullsan that’s made of high-quality TPU.

The new range is targeted at the meat, poultry, dairy, and fish industries, where compliance with stringent hygiene requirements is mandatory. However, Siegling Fullsan belts are also ideal for other food applications, such as dough processing, or in the agricultural sector (processing vegetables and producing snacks).

Anuga Foodtec is a premier trade show and magnet for the food and beverage industry. Forbo Movement Systems will be showcasing its Siegling Fullsan belts to industry professionals at the event.

FULL HYGIENE.

Homogenous belts ensure superior hygiene because:

·         They can meet all thermal and mechanical challenges

·         They have exceptional UV-C resistance

·         They’re easy to clean and resistant to all chemicals used in the process

·         They withstand frequent cleaning cycles due to their outstanding hydrolysis resistance

·         They’re fully homogenous and therefore almost rule out any oil, grease, moisture, and bacteria from penetrating the belt carcass.

FULL RANGE.

Siegling Fullsan belts come in three series: Flat, Center Drive and Positive Drive. Belts from the Flat series are friction-driven power-transmission solutions. Belts from the Center Drive and Positive Drive series are form-fit power-transmission solutions.

All Siegling Fullsan belts come in fully homogenous versions, but also as reinforced Pro versions with embedded aramid cords in a lengthways direction. The cords in the Pro versions increase the tensile force and minimize belt elongation in the process. These characteristics make the belts ideal for long conveyors and heavy loads.

The new belt types also have different surface patterns. A matte top face is perfect for accumulation applications, or for conveying dry or packaged products. A smooth, easy-to-clean top face is predestined for conveying wet/moist products.  The belt types with an NP (inverted pyramid) pattern on the top face reduce the product contact area and improve product release, particularly when dough and vegetables are conveyed. An NP pattern on the underside also cuts the friction when the belt runs over a stainless-steel slider bed and it repels water.

FULL SERVICE.

Forbo Movement Systems provides support, fitting, and after-sales service. It also offers a range of extra products, such as profiles and side walls in various shapes and sizes. As a result, Fullsan belts can handle a wide range of tasks, such as inclined conveying, moving small items, bulk goods, and highly adhesive items.

Siegling Fullsan products comply with the current FDA and EU regulation. Therefore, they ensure outstanding levels of food safety during production and support HACCP concepts consistently.

Forbo Movement Systems is a leading manufacturer throughout the world with over 100 years of experience and a worldwide presence. It’s now adding a new Siegling Fullsan line to its portfolio to cover all hygiene-critical applications and offer food-grade belting solutions with real added value.
