Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Jany
Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Jany was the director of the Molecular Biology Centre at the Federal Research Institute for Nutrition and Food from 1990 to 2008. His work focused on safety research on genetically modified foods and risk communication. In 2008 he entered into active retirement. 2008-2018 voluntary work for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). Since 2008 Vice President for Research and Education at Wadi International University, Syria. Since 2015 chairman of the association Wissenschaftlerkreis Grüne Gentechnik e.V., Frankfurt.
