The event

Too much food still ends up in the bin. This involves considerable financial losses and wasting of precious resources. The losses for meat, grain and milk products are especially significant here. However, the wasting of food is not due to ignorance or a lack of will, but instead in most cases as the result of information deficits along the value-added chain. Smart solutions promise relief. This session shows how they can contribute to minimising overproduction and avoiding unnecessary waste.
