Timken used its’ strategic supplier network to find a partner that offered a new FDA-approved Xylan coating.
The coating offers extra corrosion and chemical resistance against water and other cleaning fluids.
Timken applied Xylan to a Timken split cylindrical roller bearing housed unit for a powerful combination of durability and easy maintenance.
This is the first Xylan coating application in Italy’s food and beverage market.
The manufacturer is saving an estimated € 30,000 - 40,000 in annual warranty and maintenance costs.
