In hygiene-critical food production and processing and when plastic modular belts have to be removed from the conveyor for cleaning or maintenance (COP = cleaning out of place), the ability to open and close the module chain quickly and easily is a must.
Forbo Movement Systems’ new product called ProSnap (PSP) for its Prolink 4.1, 6.1, 10 and 13 series does the job. This tool-free, quick-release system allows fast and simple opening and closing of the belt. It can be added to any variant of the plastic modular belt series and therefore saves time.
The ProSnap release system has a smooth surface (FLT), is very strong and comes in various materials. To allow users to spot it quickly, ProSnap is deliberately a different color to the belt. The tool-free click system is impressive because it’s very easy and fast to use.
