A SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT FOR YOUR PACKAGING LINE

Customers relying on Galdi's experience to develop and manufacture an entire packaging line can count on a wide range of qualities and services, as well as the highest level of attentiveness during the whole process, from pasteurized products to pallets ready for dispatch.

All this with the added benefit of having a single point of contact.

THE BENEFITS OF A MADE-IN-GALDI PACKAGING LINE

LAYOUT PLANNING

We support you in designing and developing the layout of your production area, including all packaging and handling equipment. We supply coordinated and integrated systems, which take into account existing spaces and processes, as well as safety, of course.

ENGINEERING

We integrate the best automation systems to ensure efficiency along the entire packaging line: from filling to end-of-line, from handling to pallets ready for shipping.

DESIGNED WITH OPERATORS IN MIND

We analyse and plan each stage to optimise the activities of operators, following the principles of Ergonomic Design. During our post-installation training, we share best practices with operators, to make sure that high efficiency levels are maintained over time.

IN PERFECT SYNC

Planning the whole line means that we can achieve a perfect integration of the hardware and software components in our machines, allowing for an optimal flow management during the entire packaging process. Throughout the line, each component is set up to "speak the same language", ensuring maximum production stability and efficiency.

FLEXIBILITY

The flexibility of Galdi's multi-format packaging systems also applies to our end-of-line solutions.

Secondary packaging can be adapted to (large scale) retail requirements in terms of groupings (e.g. 2x3, 2x4, 2x6) and design type (e.g. open tray for display, tray with lid, etc.).

Take, for example, our wrap-around case packer, which can handle up to 14 different formats.

AFTER SALES SERVICES

Another advantage of having a single point of contact for the whole line is the responsiveness and quality of after-sales services for all machines involved in the packaging process.

SOME OF OUR PACKAGING LINE PROJECTS

Many companies have already relied on Galdi's experience to develop a complete packaging line.

To help a customer based in Cameroon respond quickly to market needs, we supplied both a full Gable Top packaging line for wine and a wrap-around case packer.

Equipment: Galdi RG50-WF (Warm Fill) + wrap-around

In France, we installed a complete solution for liquid egg: Galdi's RG50-SFUC model, together with a conveyor belt system and a wrap-around case packer.

Equipment: Galdi RG50-SFUC (Ultra Clean) + wrap-around

With the new line, the customer wanted to enter the Retail segment by diversifying production, which until then had focused on the Ho.Re.Ca sector (with bag-in-box and tank containers).

This project also meets other requirements:

market diversification using Gable Top cartons, which are more attractive for display;
green choice: combining primary and secondary packaging in the name of sustainability;
flexible secondary packaging to fulfil retail requirements: box with lid + flat top tray.

Because of the limited space of the production area that was to house the packaging line, it was essential to conduct a design and engineering assessment.

Galdi's thirty years' experience in food packaging, combined with the expertise acquired through new resources within the Group, enables us to turn your objectives into real and efficient solutions.
