Goudsmit Magnetics is an international company dedicated to the design and manufacture of magnets and magnetic systems for metal separation, recycling, transport, lifting, holding and demagnetization in various branches of industry. For the food industry Goudsmit manufactures magnetic separators and EHEDG certified magnet filters which remove tramp metals from solids, powders and liquids.

Intensive contact between company, original equipment manufacturer and end user, in combination with years of accumulated knowledge, result in functional custom solutions. Since the establishment in 1959 this family company has produced millions of magnetic systems that have found their way to every continent. Development, engineering and production take place at the headquarters in the Netherlands, in the Brainport region. Our customers are active in the food, pharma, chemicals, automotive, bulk, ceramics, plastics, metals and recycling industry.
Prevent food contamination and recalls
One of the biggest challenges in the food industry is safeguarding food safety. You want to avoid at any costs involved in product contaminants such as foreign bodies or bacterial growth, because it leads to rejection or large-scale recalls, which ultimately lead to high costs and reputational damage. Metal contamination ends up in food processes through contaminated material input, machine wear and tear and maintenance of the production line. Goudsmit manufactures many types of magnetic separators which remove large parts >50 mm such as bolts and nuts, to very small metal particles of 30 µm.
Engineering, Production, Testing centre
The use of advanced measuring equipment ensures our products meet customer requirements. We measure and analyze both the geometric and magnetic properties. Our demo- and test center gives customers insights in metal separation from their own products as well as important information they need to give their customers certain guarantees.
