About Dr. Christiane Barnickel
Dr. Christiane Barnickel is an advisor for food and agriculture at Environmental Action Germany (Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V.), where, among many other topics at the interface between food, agriculture and nature conservation, she is primarily concerned with the potential for reducing food waste. Before joining Deutsche Umwelthilfe, she held a postdoc position in a project on the inclusive transformation of the agricultural and food system at Humboldt University Berlin.
